Welcome to Morita Orthodontics!
Orthodontic Care in and Around Honolulu and Aiea, Hawaii!
Honolulu and Aiea orthodontists, Dr. Randal D. Morita and Dr. Scott Morita, offer the most comprehensive options for straightening teeth beyond the conventional braces. We proudly offer a wide array of orthodontic solutions, including Invisalign® clear aligners, clear braces, ceramic braces, traditional metal braces and more! We have two convenient locations in Honolulu and Aiea, Hawaii and also service patients from the surrounding areas of Central Oahu and West Oahu.
Dr. Scott L. Morita loves making people smile! He is a local boy, born and raised in Hawaii! During his time in Hawaii, he went to Punahou School and worked as a Lifeguard for the City and County of Honolulu. Like his father, Randal D. Morita, he also attended the University of Southern California where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology, a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Master’s in Craniofacial Biology, and Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Scott has received advanced training in the newest orthodontic technologies including Invisalign, ceramic braces, mini-implants and plates, and lingual braces. During his education at USC, he was selected to take an Advanced Orthodontic externship to both Brazil and Japan.
Dr. Scott is a member of many leading organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, Hawaii Society of Orthodontists, and the Hawaii Dental Association.
Dr. Scott strongly believes in community outreach in both Hawaii’s local and the international community. Locally, he volunteers his time teaching as Orthodontic Faculty at Queens Medical, Lutheran Medical, and Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center dental residency programs. Internationally, Dr. Scott stays as an active participant in USC Ayuda International Clinic’s. Dr. Scott has volunteered dental services to the children of Mexico, Guatamala, Belize, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica.
In his spare time, Dr. Scott enjoys surfing, tennis, working out, cooking (especially eating), and all things technology. If Dr. Scott is not working on his Blog #MoritaOrtho, he is volunteering at Kapiolani Community College Farmers Market at the “MH Orchid” booth.
